Caroline Hirsch

President
Caroline’s Comedy Club

Caroline Hirsch's career began when she opened a small cabaret in Manhattan's Chelsea area. With comedy on the rise, Hirsch started booking performances by new comedians including the then unknown talent of Jerry Seinfeld, Jay Leno, Gary Shandling and Sandra Bernhard.

Carolines became the place for rising comedians. Having earned a reputation for featuring and discovering comedy's brightest future stars, the Arts & Entertainment Network asked Hirsch to produce a stand-up comedy show called "Carolines Comedy Hour". Under Hirsch's new production company, The Pinky Ring, Inc., 120 episodes aired. The show ultimately won a Cable ACE Award for the "Best Stand-Up Comedy Series."

Last year she produced a television special, "The Ms. Foundation's 25th Anniversary Special", for the Lifetime network.

Today, Carolines on Broadway, as it has come to be known, holds center stage in the heart of Times Square as a New York City nightspot. The venue with an elegant dˇcor received critical acclaim when it received the American Institute of architecture Aware for Best Interior Club Design.

Her newest project, Carolines.com, an online entertainment website, is dedicated to comedy programming through the use of live video streaming and original content.

Hirsch is on the board of the Association for the Help of Retarded Children and is a past board member of the Ms. Foundation.

Caroline Hirsch is a native New Yorker and lives in Manhattan.
