Robert Mayer is Vice President, Marketing for Crowne Plaza H0tels and Resorts in North America. In this role, Mayer is responsible for all brand marketing activities - including brand and consumer advertising - with direct responsibility for the North America Region.
Prior to joining Crowne Plaza, Mayer served as Vice President, Marketing for Madison Square Garden where his responsibilities included strategic planning, database development, brand and product development for all entertainment and sports properties, creative services, corporate brand activities and joint product development with parent company, Cablevision.
Prior to Madison Square Garden, Bob was Executive Vice President and Director of Marketing for RSH&S Advertising where he was responsible for brand accounts such as American West Airlines, Smith Corona, Ford and Showtime Satellite Networks. In the travel and hospitality sector, Bob has also worked with American Airlines, PanAm, Inter-continental Hotels and Resorts, America West Airlines and ITT Sheraton Hotels. Bob received his degree from Princeton University.
